The low-pile (0.3 inch / 0.8 cm) is constructed from solution-dyed polypropylene, which is inherently non-shedding and resistant to fading. The backing is a cotton-polyester weave that provides natural grip on carpeted surfaces; for hard floors, an additional anti-slip pad is recommended. This rug is not machine washable due to its backing, but it can be spot-cleaned with a mild detergent and water.
